Saadiyat Beach Club

Today we treated ourselves to a day at Saadiyat Beach Club. Within walking distance from our home it was the perfect location for a spot of relaxation.         

Exploring Saadiyat

Today Warren and I decided to explore the local Saadiyat area and find out what else this island has to offer. We heard of a new shopping centre called ‘The Collection’ which had opened up in the St Regis Residents so we decided to make that our first stop for breakfast at the famous Shakespeare’s. The cafe was pretty quiet but the food delicious and the service attentive to detail. After filling our bellies we had a little wonder around. There was a lovely sense of excitement at what could be with this new development. So far only 3 shops are open: Shakespeare’s, a (very mini) Spinneys supermarket and a small Beyond the Beach store selling a wide range of female swimwear and accessories. But there was plenty of activity and the other stores seem to be gearing up for opening soon. I’m most excited about the new sushi restaurant called Koi which is due to be opening next month :-).
